Who we are

CryptoPromo.deals is an independent information website published at cryptopromo.deals. For data protection purposes we are the controller of any personal data processed through this site. You can reach us at contact@cryptopromo.deals.

What we collect

Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. This site has no accounts, no registration, no newsletter form and no comment system. We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or any identity document, and we would have nowhere to put them if you sent them.

Standard server logs. Like any website, requests to our server may be recorded — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser and operating system. This is ordinary web infrastructure operation, used for security and to diagnose faults, and retained only as long as needed for those purposes.

Aggregate analytics, if enabled. Where we measure traffic, it is in aggregate: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, which device types are used. We do not use it to identify individuals and we do not attempt to.

What we do not do

• Sell, rent or trade personal data to anybody, for any purpose
• Build advertising profiles or run behavioural retargeting from this site
• Ask for or store financial details, wallet addresses or private keys
• Require an account or any registration to read anything here

Cookies

This site is built as static pages and uses cookies minimally. Where any cookie or similar technology is used beyond what is strictly necessary to serve the site, consent is sought in accordance with applicable law, and declining does not restrict access to any content.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.

Outbound links

We link to exchanges, marketplaces, brands and regulators. Some of those links are commercial partnerships and are marked rel="nofollow noopener sponsored" in the page source.

Once you follow a link, you are on somebody else’s site under their privacy policy, not ours. We have no control over what they collect, how they use it or how long they keep it. Read their policy before providing any information, particularly to anything asking for identity documents or payment details.

Legal basis for processing

Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or a comparable regime applies, our lawful basis for processing the limited data described above is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website and understanding in aggregate which content is useful. Where consent is required, we ask for it and you may withdraw it at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

In practice, because we hold almost nothing tied to an identifiable person, most requests are answered quickly and with very little to report. Write to contact@cryptopromo.deals and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Children

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age at which consent is required in their jurisdiction.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because we hold no accounts and no financial data, the attack surface is small by design: the best protection for data is not to collect it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
