What this site is for
Buying an Amazon gift card with Bitcoin takes two minutes and any platform will help you do it. Working out that you paid 6% over face value, that the code will not redeem on the storefront your recipient actually uses, and that settling in a different network would have saved another three dollars. Nobody will help you with that, because nobody selling the product has a reason to.
That gap is the whole purpose of CryptoPromo.deals. We cover crypto gift cards, crypto vouchers, prepaid cards and exchange promotions, and we try to answer the questions a buyer has rather than the ones a seller wants asked.
How we test things
We price the same products across multiple platforms and convert the crypto figures back into fiat so the markup becomes visible. We read the terms that govern region locks, expiry and redemption, and we check them against what the brands themselves publish rather than against other comparison sites. We test the flows where we can, and we say so when we have not.
We also check regulatory claims. When a page on this site says an exchange holds a particular licence, the number is there and it links to the regulator’s own register so you can confirm it without trusting us.
How this is funded

What that does not buy is a rating, a ranking or a recommendation. Nobody has editorial input into what appears here, and we have published unflattering conclusions about products we have a commercial relationship with, because a comparison site that cannot do that is an advertisement with extra steps.
You can test this claim rather than accepting it. Our platform comparison declines to name an overall winner and explains why. Our buying crypto with a gift card page tells people the thing they searched for does not exist. Neither of those is what a page written for conversion looks like.
What we will not publish
- Invented or unverified discount codes, or lists of codes we have not checked
- Rankings determined by commission rather than by testing
- Made-up author personas or fabricated credentials
- Specific investment or financial advice — we are not licensed and it would be wrong
- Price or fee figures we cannot source, presented as precise
On our limitations
Prices, fees, regional availability and promotional terms in this category change constantly, and some of them change without announcement. We date our pages and revisit them, and we will still sometimes be behind reality.
So we try to teach methods rather than publish snapshots. The four-minute fee check in our fees guide works regardless of what any table on this site says today, which is the point of it.
Corrections

An important boundary
We are an information site. We are not a broker, an exchange, a money transmitter or a financial adviser. We do not sell gift cards, vouchers or cryptocurrency, we never hold customer funds, and nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
Cryptocurrency is volatile and, in many jurisdictions, largely unregulated. You can lose money. Check the rules that apply where you live, and take professional advice on anything substantial.
